Anne (Eliza Jane) has always been an orphan. Now, being eighteen years old, she hopes that one day she can be reunited with the parents she left behind. But her dreams intermingle with the psychological damage she suffers as a moody girl in a temporary home, used for all kinds of work under the table, some of which are too horrible to describe. In an environment devoid of order and reality, she is adopted into the possession of a wealthy businessman, Mr. Westfield (Derrick Pierce), whose attraction to Anne clouds his judgment and makes possible a plan to take Anne back, which the lascivious owner of the temporary home, Mr. Hands (Tommy Pistol), has hatched. Will Anne survive scandals and manipulation to find where she really belongs?
