Year 51 BC After 8 years of war, Caesar triumphs in the war against the Gauls. There are celebrations for the victory and the return to Rome. Meanwhile, in the capital of the empire, Senator Pompeo, beloved by the people, loses his wife, the first daughter of Caesar. Caesar, informed by the Senate of a plot against his overthrow, decides to return to Rome with full force. The army, led by the centurion Lucio Voreno and the legionary Tito Pullio, arrives in Rome and finds an empty city without institutions. This leads the Senate to declare Caesar a dictator. To escape the civil war, Pompeo leaves Rome with his wife and the rebellious senators and expels to Greece. Lucio, meanwhile, returns home to find that his wife has changed, and Tito Pullio and Ottavia uncover a hidden plot...
