Nomades (Bazaar Hotel)

In the spirit of North-South exchange, Europe sends its young people to North Africa to work, with the aim of transforming a riyadh into a multi-ethnic arts centre; a kind of rural lodge where many students live together. Lucas, a young Frenchman, sets off from Marseille to spend his holidays in the land of a thousand and one nights. Without much money he travels in last class. On the ship he meets Karim, a young traveller who returns home and owns a small hotel near the souk in the medina of the capital. He offers Lucas to stay in his luxurious cabin and introduces him to Arab hospitality and local customs. Twenty years after Harem, 17 actors show us the modern Maghreb, where friendship and sensuality are one and the same thing.
